Camping

We offer spacious camping in Chiddingly, in beautiful East Sussex countryside on our peaceful family run Sussex farm, the perfect way to enjoy the great outdoors.

Our campsite in Chiddingly East Sussex is a great place for families, walkers, cyclists & holiday makers! With beautiful views, and an adjacent footpath which links us to the Weald Way where two excellent local pubs and a tap room, offering great food & drink (The Six Bells, The Gun & The Gun Brewery) can be walked to.

During your stay you can meet Oreo, Bailey and Tilly our friendly donkeys and lovely ponies. See our rare breed Oxford, Sandy and Black pigs, lying in the sunshine or rooting around in the soil. Enjoy visiting our free range chickens, geese and resident ducks. Meet our herd of Pygmy goats with their adorable kids and watch our pedigree flock of Lleyn sheep grazing across the farm giving you an idyllic camping experience in East Sussex.

The farm is open every morning for you to meet and feed the animals from 9.00am-11.00am.There is no additional charge to visit the farm.

Our free range eggs, sausages and bacon are available to buy so you can have fresh eggs for breakfast! Any other produce and essentials and an excellent cafe be found at our local village shop. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Facilities

Our flushing toilets and gas fired hot showers will ensure you have as comfortable a stay as possible. We also have undercover washing up areas and provide standpipes for fresh, mains drinking water.

 

Campfires

Campfires are welcomed and each pitch has its own fire pit for you to use. Logs, kindling and fire starter packs are available to purchase, to make for a perfect evening under the stars.

Like campfires, BBQs are part of the fun of being outdoors and are encouraged but please make sure they are raised sufficiently to prevent the grass from burning. There are a number of bricks available to use.
